New Artist Trading Cards!

My brand new  venture into 'Artist Trading Cards'!  (2.5"x3.5". These are almost real life size.)
I started sketching with pencil, painted with acrylic, then covered them in gel medium to seal it all .
I am really happy with the results. All of these cards have been traded. To set up a custom swap contact me!
I am also making ACEO's
What's an ACEO? It's an “Art Card Editions and Originals”. These affordable little works of art measure only 2.5" x 3.5" and are perfect for collecting, framing, and gifting!

Artist Trading Cards!

Here are my new artist trading cards inspired by a sweet kitty from Australia! I am doing a swap on the themes of Dreams, Nests, Alice in Wonderland and fairies. Here are some of the cards. They are watercolor paper, collage, acrylic and pencil. I covered them in Matt gel medium. This is all new to me!

This is a fun little Boston Terrier paper doll I made last week.
She has a gopher friend, a doll and a pet lizard all in the big matchbox with her clothes.
*These whimsical little projects burn off fear about 'just starting something'.
Plus I got 2 others in the house making matchbox projects as well.
Fun, silly, and feels like childhood.

For next weeks inspiration painting I am planning
"We Ride Gordon Like a Pony". I can see the saddle and kids riding Gordon like an elephant or a pony. Can you see it?! Gordon may be Giant, or the kids may be tiny, who knows.Enough inspiration for a year here!
